Cedaredge is located on the so side of Grand Mesa, the world's largest flat top mt. Popular downhill skiing areas are nearby (Telluride - 2 hrs, Powderhorn - 45 min.) and only minutes away for great cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and snowmobiling. Many hiking and biking trails in the area. Also great for canoeing, good fishing and hunting. Home is just minutes from a beautiful 18 hole golf course. Nice, cool 6,200 ft. elevation with very little snow at our level. Great climate year around for outdoor activities. The town of Cedaredge offers unique shopping to include antique shops and The Apple Shed. There is a full service grocery with bakery and pharmacy. Cedaredge has tennis courts, a city park, library, and during the summer, Pioneer Town at the Welcome Center. Our home is within walking distance of downtown. Some gardening required. There are many scenic and historical areas that can be visited in a days time from Cedaredge - Telluride, Silverton, Aspen, etc.
