Tri-level home which offers ocean views of Tomales and Bodega Bays and peninsulas. Enjoy beautiful sunsets with an easy two-block walk down to the beach. This home is excellent for family vacations, cozy enough for a romantic weekend, large enough to accommodate crafters groups, and perfect for special holiday gatherings. The private back yard offers a protected area for bar-b-quing, with a sink and serving counters, tables and chairs and a fire pit for cool evenings. Patio/deck is partially covered to be used even in rainy and foggy and breezy conditions. Covered breezeway for easy access to and from the yard. Two bedrooms with queen beds. Two bedrooms with twins, one of which is a bunk-bed set-up and the other a day-bed/trundle. Kitchen is fully equipped with glass cook-top range, microwave and plenty of dishes and cooking equipment. One larger bathroom with stall shower on the main floor and second half-bath downstairs. Bath and kitchen towels and bed sheets are NOT provided as we do not have linen service nearby in this out-of-the way community. However, pillows, blankets and mattress pads are provided.

Additional information about surrounding area and attractions:
Dillon Beach is centrally located within approximately one hour of San Francisco, Santa Rosa, Napa, Sonoma and Alexander wine regions. Location offers easy access to Highway 1, driving north to Bodega Bay with shops and restaurants and whale watching in season. Continuing north you can easily reach Jenner-by-the-Sea, Sea Ranch and Fort Ross, just to name a few. Traveling south, you can purchase oysters at Hog Island Oyster Company in Marshall, shop in Pt. Reyes and visit the lighthouse a few miles out of town. Visit the visitors center for the Pt. Reyes National Seashore, grab some lunch at one of the eateries in Inverness and head further south to Bolinas. Visit wineries in Napa Valley and the Sonoma area, and take the children to Train Town in downtown Sonoma for a ride on a small-scale steam train. Dillon Beach is what you make it. It can be a quiet, do-nothing weekend, or a very active vacation.

Private back yard has small fire pit. Bring small firewood and/or presto logs to add warmth to the evening. The BBQ is charcoal. Bring briquets for your own use. Starter cubes, charcoal chimneys and lighter torches are provided. No liquid fuel please. Living room is large a comfortable, easily seating the maximum of eight guests. Flat screen TV with DVD/VCR and stereo components as well.
