Green Valley is a mecca of activities for fun in the sun and is renowned for its scenic desert beauty. Green Valley is located a quick 25 miles south of Tucson and 40 miles north of Mexico. There are 8 golf courses in the area and 12 recreation centers with pools. The delightfully artsy and historic Tubac is 15 minutes away for a day of shopping. Enjoy as day of exploring ghost towns and meandering through historic back country. Bird watching opportunities are world class with a wide variety of unique eco systems nearby. Tucson provides city amenities with unique shopping and excellent dining. The Desert Diamond Casino and Theater offers gaming, dining and entertainment and is a 15 minute drive away. Green Valley is home to Lavender Resturant, with Arizona's only master french chef. There is a wide variety of mexican resturants, as well a dozens of other eating out choices. Night skies in the area are very dramatic and star gazing is a popular activity.
