The house is in walking distance to the Crab Shack and you can have your boat hoisted into the water also. Feed the baby alligators and enjoy great southern seafood! The lighthouse and Fort Screven are both on Tybee. Children will love the nature center on Oatland Island. You can enjoy the quiteness of the creek or go two miles to the Atlantic Ocean to frolic in the waves or enjoy the sunshine! There are quaint shops on Tybee and plenty of good restauraunts. Just across the bridge is Fort Pulaski, which was occupied by Robert E. Lee and is now a national park. Georgia's first city, historic Savannah, is only fifteen minutes away and has lots to see and enjoy. You can visiti River Street and City Market and enjoy the restaurants and music or sit by the water and watch the ships come in. Savannah Theatre is a must see to enjoy the musical productions.
