Our home sits along the Consumnes River. It comes fully equipped with everything needed for a relaxing vacation in the heart of the foothills wine country. The home has a private outside hot tub, outdoor tiki bar, and is furnished for a relaxing summer experience. The river access is less than 100 feet away from the back deck, and the beach area is safe for kid use. The home is also equipped with a movie library, seperate foosball room, extensive music collection, games and books, etc.

Description of surrounding area and attractions
Placerville and Jackson are both about 25 miles away from the Somerset area. You will find approximately 40 wineries within 3 to 15 miles of the home, all offering free wine tasting. The gold mining towns of Fiddletown, Amador City, Sutter Creek, Volcano, etc. are all close, and offer a wide variety of activities. There is a very good golf course close, at Apple Hill, for those who enjoy golf. The fisherman and boater will find Jenkinson Lake at Pollock Pines, which is about 15 miles away. Gold panning can be done just below the house, and the home does come with gold pans.

Rates, Cancellation And Refund Policy:
The home rents for $195 per night, two night minimum. The weekly rate is $895. We require a $250 deposit at the time of booking, which is not refundable if booking cancelled. We do, however, keep the $250 deposit on the books for one year as a credit for future booking, if used with that year.
