The bi-weekly drum circle in the sand is great healthy fun....bring a drum and join in or bring a scarf and practice belly dancing...great fun for young and old. Enjoy a picnic in the shade or try to catch a big one from the fishing jette.
After the beach enjoy outdoor cafes along Venice Boulevard, do a little shopping or take in a show. If you're looking for more excitement Sarasota is just 15 minutes up the road;a beautiful city offering an abundance of cultural events and cosmopolitan flair.
