Visiting Rome is an unforgettable experience even through future visits. As far as tourism attractions,the city offers interesting elements :

Few days visit as tourist are not enough to visit it and have a rough idea of Rome and its history, covering a period
• from the first Etruscan/Roman period revealed by the most ancient layers of the Palatino and piazza Argentina,
• to the Roman Republican and Imperial period of the Forums, the Domus Aurea, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, Antonine and Traina
Columns, of the early Christian Catacombs and of the first basilicas;
• for visiting the medieval Rome from the Renaissance and Baroque period of the Farnese palaces and of the Cancelleria, the Staircase
of Trinità dei Monti, the Trevi Fountain, the many ecclesiastic buildings: for the gothic S. Maria Sopra Minerva, for the Renaissance
period - S. Maria Maggiore, S. Paolo, for the baroque period- S. Ivo alla Sapienza, S. Carlino alle Quattro Fontane, S. Maria Della
Pace. Without mentioning the basilica of St. Peter, originally started on a central plant design of the Bramante and continued with
Michelangelo’s project, façade of Maderno and the arcade of Bernini;
• there are many museums: the Museo Capitolino, Museo Romano del Massimo alle Terme, Altempt palace, Museo della Loggia del
Bramante, without mentioning the Vatican Museums including the loggia of Raffaelo, who has frescoed them and then the Sistine
Chapel frescoes.
Amusements: opera season, in winter at the Opera Theatre, in summer at the Terme di Caracalla and at the Roman theatre of Ostia Antica.
Trastevere, Prati, Ponte Milvio and the centre offer also trendy places of the Roman movida.
As far as the shopping is concerned, the centre of Rome offers all the haute couture worldwide known brands. The areas for the haute couture
shopping and for a cheaper shopping: via Con ti, Via del Corso, Piazza di Spagna.
