Lion's Gate Getaway sits high on the hill overlooking Red Hook harbor and has a commanding 270 degree view of St. John, and Tortola. In a few minutes you can walk into Red Hook for shopping, dinner, drinks and night life or catch the ferries to St. John and the BVI.
My husband Chris and I have lived on St. Thomas for over 20 years. He came to dive, I came to sail. We met and discovered we both had a love of the water and the Caribbean life style. Chris built this house on the top of the hill, and now we have expanded it to accommodate guests in our apartment that captures the Caribbean life style. We look forward to helping you enjoy your vacation in any way we can. Just ask for local tips on restaurants and activities.

Description of surrounding area and attractions
We are in the heart of all the activity that Red Hook has to offer here on the East end of St. Thomas. From the apartment you can be on the docks in minutes to rent a power boat for the day, or go fishing in a world class sport fishing boat. Kayaking rentals are just down the road and beaches are within minutes from town. Charlotte Amalie is about 30 minutes away for serious shoppers. And last but by now means least is day sailing. Captain Max has the beautiful day sail boat Lou that takes six guests sailing every day. She is your host so just ask about sailing
Red Hook has everything in the way of restaurants from Pizza to elegant dinning and night life.

Lion's Gate has a full kitchen with granite counter tops, a full refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker and grinder and toaster, everything you need to enjoy you own place. The grocery store is just down the road. You can dine inside or out and enjoy the stunning views of the Harbor from the private outdoor patio in the cool breeze with a cold drink in your hand.
