Want a vacation free of beach vendors and crowded beaches? Come to Punta Esmeralda, 20 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta (the same distance to the south side of Puerto Vallarta). Punta Esmeralda is a new gated resort complex about 2 minutes north of the small town of Bucerias. It is located directly on the Bay of Banderas right at the turn for Punta de Mita.
Enjoy a 3 bedroom, 4 bath first floor condominium with its own dipping pool. The spacious 3000 square foot is furnished in a contemporary manner with tropical overtones. Original art graces the walls and a contemporary sculpture enhances the terrace area.
The condominium can accommodate up to eight persons. There are three bedrooms each it with its own marble counter top and showers. All bedding is provided. The TV room can be converted into a fourth bedroom with its own private bath. There is seating for 8 persons at the dining table and two seating areas. Central air conditioning is controlled in each room.
The ultra modern granite counter top kitchen with TEKA stove, microwave, dishwasher and range hood is a pleasant place to prepare a meal. It is equipped with pots, pans, silverware and dishes. There is a coffee maker and blender available.
You can enjoy your coffee or cocktails out on the terrace by the dipping pool. There are four chaise lounge chairs and two tables that can seat 8 persons combined. Have a meal inside our outside the apartment while look out at the bay.
Maid service is provided once per week but additional maid service can be obtained for a $50.00 charge per visit. A cook can also be provided if desired.
Punta Esmeralda is a beautifully landscaped resort complex. There is a large exercise facility with private steam room and Jacuzzi for men and women. Two tennis courts are available.
If you want to lounge at one of the pools or head for the beach club, the choice is yours. There are 8 common pools in the complex. The beach club serves lunch and beverages right on the beach by a lovely pool.
There are many good restaurants in Bucerias and La Cruz. These towns are more typical small Mexican towns than Puerto Vallarta.
If you need transport from the airport or a rental car, this can be planned in advance. Your car can be waiting for you at the airport or someone can meet you at the airport to greet you.

Description of surrounding area and attractions
Located 2 minutes north of Bucerias which has several nice restaurants. To the north about 1 minute driving distance is La Cruz. It is smaller but also has some good restaurants.
