 Additional information about surrounding area and attractions:
The Hood Canal Hideaway is located on the southeastern end of the canal where the water is calm, fishing and shellfish are great and the crab are abundant. Our house is equipped with fishing poles, and crab pots plus a boat for putting our the crab pots. There is moorage on the beach and boat launch is within 4 miles, if you want to bring your personal speed boat. The Olympic Rainforest is 30 minutes away for hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter at Hurrican Ridge. Antique hunting and wineries are close by as if horseback riding, parachuting, car racing and airplane rides. The ferry to Victoria, Canada, is close enough to do a day trip from our location. Plus, Seattle is only an hour and a half by ferry to enjoy all the attractions of a big city!

Gas barbecue, boating and fishing equipment, storage shed on the beach with water toys, life jackets, house is fully stocked with all the dishes, linens, shampoo, etc. and firewood is provided.
