Thirty minutes in the other direction takes you to historic Appalachicola, a beautiful and quaint town brimming with old Florida charm for a visitor to discover. Other nearby attractions feature Cape San Blas, a penninsula visible across the entrance to St. Joseph Bay and home to St. Joeseph State Park. Closer to home eateries, shops, stores and watering holes are found in Mexico Beach and Port St. Joe. Jet ski rentals, flats fishing, deep sea fishing and wreck diving are available in both Mexico Beach and Port St. Joe.
