Tucked away on 4 1/2 acres, this sweet 3 bedroom guest house is in a peaceful lush setting just across the road from the ocean. The airey guesthouse is fully furnished with simple tropical decor and linens and towels are provided. The kitchen is equipped with dishes pots/pans etc. there is a four burner stove,a frig and washer dryer. There is a large screened lanai (porch) for eating meals, playing games, reading, yoga or just relaxing and a smaller screened bed/reading room off the bedroom in the back.

Description of surrounding area and attractions
Hale 'Ae Kai sits in the middle of many of the natural wonders of the Big Island. Sitting directly across the road from the ocean, we see and hear whales during the winter months , watch the dolphins swim by and see the honu (turtles) pop their heads above the surface of the water. Kehena Black Sand Beach is a beautiful 2 mile walk from the hale. Kalain Oceanside Retreat offsrs and array of classes, meals and day passs access to there pool, jacuzzi and sauna, Vocanically heated warm ponds, steam vents and amazing snorkeling at the Kapoho tide pools are just minutes away and of course Madam Pele (volcano) is flowing only 15 minutes from Hale 'Ae Kai. Pahoa town is a 20 minute drive with restaurants, shops and Sunday farmers market. Hilo is a 40 minute drive with museums, botanical gardens shopping and many tourist attractions. Volcano National Park is less than an hour drive from our location.
