This spacious beach house enjoys one of the best locations along the coast - just one home removed from the sand and in the desirable 6000 block of Seashore Drive. Seashore is a beautifully decorated Cape Cod-style home of approximately 2,000 square feet. It has three bedrooms, two roomy bathrooms, a cozy living room with fireplace, a separate dining room, a fully appointed gourmet kitchen, and a small alcove area that is set up as an office with internet access. A bicycle path just outside your door leads to the Newport and Huntington Beach boardwalks.
Seashore is located at the west end of the Peninsula. There is no boardwalk here and the beach is deep and almost always quiet and un-crowded. The Newport Beach pier is within walking distance – about 20 minutes away by foot along the water's edge - and the river jetty, noted as an excellent body-surfing spot, is just a few blocks away. Seashore has peek-a-boo views of the ocean from several of its rooms. The top floor has a spacious master bedroom with a king-size bed and sitting area; a second bedroom with a queen-size bed; and an alcove area that is set up as a small office.
The second floor or main floor consists of a fully appointed kitchen plus a living room with partial ocean view; a couch, two chairs, cable television and DVD/VCR, as well as counter chairs. In addition, there is a formal dining room that seats six, the third bedroom with two twin beds, and the second full bathroom.
On the ground level is a small patio and is a great place for outdoor dining and barbecuing. The two-car attached garage has an automatic opener and new laundry facilities (shared with long-term tenant in studio).
Remodeled in 2004 with a tropical flair, the place is awesome. You will not find a better rental in Newport Beach. The furniture is beautiful – a mix of typical Californian. The property is well maintained and always clean. If you're looking for accommodations at the beach but are tired of renting poorly maintained and less-than-clean homes, Seashore is for you. This home comfortably sleeps six. Our rates are based on parties of up to six people; please inquire if your group exceeds six.
From the beach the property is off Walnut & Seashore at Lifeguard station #62 and near the West Newport Park.
Seashore rents on a Saturday (check-in 4pm) to Saturday (check-out at 11am) basis. Please send us an email if you have any other questions or would like more pictures. We accept money orders, wire transfers and bank checks. Sorry, we are not set-up for credit cards.
