Description of surrounding area and attractions
Nerja lies at the foot of the mountains at the eastern end of the Costa del Sol, just 45 minutes from Malaga. Airport, along the new main highway. Nerja’s centrepiece is the Balcon de Europa, a palm promenade with superb views of the coastline. There are no modern high rise developments to mar Nerja’s character. Within the town itself, there is a handful of small sandy coves and the main Burriana Beach is only 5 min walk from the apartment (excellent sea view from apartment balcony). The town centre is only 10 minutes walk away and there are a large variety of lovely restaurants and bars (including Tapas Bars).

Amenities
Burriana Beach is only a few minutes walk from the apartment. Bavaria Golf is about 15 minutes drive from Nerja. There is a water park at Torre Del Mar which is about 20 minutes from Nerja. The whitewashed village of Frigiliana is a lovely village up in the mountains 6km from Nerja which is well worth a visit.
