A vacation on the water: our home is sitting on a 7 acre parcel of rock, above the lake. We are totally private here.
From any of the spacious rooms you have a look at the surrounding mountains , and the lake. The house has a wrap around deck to take in the various viewscapes thru the day.
The house is fully furnished, with all the amenities you might need.
There is a staircase to the water, or else you walk 300 yards from our diveway to the little beach, where we keep our boats, and where we swim.

Description of surrounding area and attractions
The Kootenays are the as yet undiscovered jewel of British Columbia. They are nestled against the Rocky Mountains.
Kootenay Lake is 100 miles long, running north/south, with excellent fishing right off our beach.
There are countless hiking trips you can make within a 20 KM radius: canyons, mountain peaks, grizly bear valleys, and so on.
Mount Loki, 9000 feet high, stands out for us across the lake.
There are many charming small towns scattered thru the Kootenays.
Nelson, population 10.000, is 75 KM from here, while Kaslo is just a 10 minute drive.
