Tucked into the SW corner of North Carolina is Cherokee County and the Poor House... a perfect destination to experience your smokey mountain vacation. The town of Murphy retains the ambiance of small town Americana. Life here is less stressed...the tempo laid back. This is the land of panoramic mountain views. Just to the west is the Ocoee River for rafting and world class whitewater kyaking. Just to the east is the Nantahala Gorge and the Nanatahala Outdoor Center for river rafting. To fish, swim or boat there is Lake Hiawassee, Lake Nantahala and Lake Chatuge. Horseback riding, hiking and biking are all at hand. The famous John Campbell Folk School stages pageants, craft shows and music events. There are flea markets locally. For a day trip try Harrah's Casino; or Ashville and its Biltmore Estate; or the Cherohala Skyway. The Georgia towns of Blairsville, Hiawassee, Young Harris and Blue Ridge are just down the road. Washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with icemaker, electric stove/oven, city water filtered at the sink for drinking and ice. King bed, queen bed, 2 twin beds and a queen sleeper sofa. Premium gas grill for cook-outs [permanent gas line]. Redwood picnic table. Hot tub. Garage parking under home.

$2100 per month [4 weeks].
Rent payable in advance. Deposit refunded - cancellation 15 days prior to stay. Damage deposit subject to refund after property inspection.
