The Island is Maine ,with it's rocky coast line and many Pine trees. Ther are countless views andplaces to explore.You are after all surrounded with the sense of being near the ocean. The lobster's have been said to be the best tasting of maine and are shipped world wide. You can purchase them right by the Ferry at the Fisherman's Co-Op. Being a fishing village of approximately one thousand residents off season it has a small town feel about it. There are church dinners , Kayaking instructions and rentals, bicycle rentals, fitness and weight lifting gym. There are many land reserves for hiking and exploring, wildlife veiwing ,fishing, sailing, boating and sight seeing. You can travel to the north end of the Island and take a quick trip across the thoughrow fare to North Haven for what they have to offer including a golf course, restaurant and stores.

The house has a full bath on the first floor and a half bath upstairs. There is a washer and dryer off the kitchen. The kitchen has the regular items utensils,microwave,gas stove ,portable dishwasher ,bread machine,coffe maker, and coffe bean grinder. a telvision with vcr and dvd player, radio/cassett/cd player, a video library, telephone with calling any where in the United States and Broadband( no overseas we suggest picking up a calling card or other means). There is a gas grill on the deck
