Las Cumbres which literally means 'The Summits' provides and understated ambiance within it's 8,000 s.f. and it enjoys cool temperatures from the thick walls and strong breezes from the mountains and Bays. The Mediterranean/Mexican style Villa overlooks the beach where the movie '10', starring Bo Dereck was filmed. There are four spacious bedrooms with full, tiled baths and gorgeous views and sounds of the mountains and the water. Each room has impeccably, built-in dressers and closets of indigenous hardwood. The large living, dining, and kitchen area open onto a terrace that runs the length of the house with a pool at one end. The views are breathtaking. There is plenty of room to relax and enjoy your vacation. The artwork in the Villa has been collected from the region and the home is fully furnished. The kitchen has all the amenities for gourmet cooking and includes a dishwasher. There is an outside wet bar, chaise longues, tables and chairs for relaxing under the overhanging palms.

Description of surrounding area and attractions
Villa Las Cumbres is atop the Santiago Peninsula between two sparkling Bays. It is a location that must be seen to be truly appreciated. Outdoor amenties in the Manzanillo area abound with beaches for sunbathing, surfing, kayaking, jet sking, snorkeling, or scuba diving. This area is also billed as the "Sailfish Capitol of the World" with deep-sea fishing charters available. If golf is an interest, there are two of Mexico's finest links nearby. Golf, hiking, horseback riding, biking and bird watching are also available for your enjoyment. The stae of Colima is very safe place with virtually no crime. There are few tourists. Superb seafood dishes, traditional Mexican fare and even international cuisine can be enjoyed inexpensively at open-air restaurants while listening to the soothing sounds of the Pacific. There are many markets and shops. Nightclubs for music and dancing are present. Day tours can be arranged to visist historical and cultural sites that are nearby. It is a paradise.
