Description of surrounding area and attractions
Higgins Lake was cited by National Geography Soc. as one of the six most beautiful inland lakes in the U.S. Unlike it's neighbor, Houghton Lake,it is spring fed and crystal clear. Higgins area is predominately residential with little commercial encroachment. Lake access is limited and private. There are two excellent State Parks complete with sandy beaches, guards, dressing rooms, food and game concessions, boat rentals, etc. We feel this is by far the best way to enjoy the Lake,while having the privacy and quiet acommodation of the Oak Lodge.

TV with satellite dish, VCR, DVD, Computer, Kitchen with full size range, full size refrigerator, automatic dishwasher, pot and pans, dishes, flatware. Full size clothes washer and dryer, central perimeter radiant heat. Two fireplaces.

Rates, Cancellation And Refund Policy:
Weekly rate in season (June through August) $1,200 per week. Weekend rate (check in Friday evening-checkout Sunday noon) $600. Off season rate (May, Sept to Jan.) 1/3 less. Winter snow mobile and ski season at full rate.

Deposits:
Refundable security deposit of $100 ($200 with pets) 1/3 plus securtity due at reservation, remainder due at check-in.
