Horton Bay is a charming little community on Northern Michigan's most beautiful Lake Charlevoix. Summer vacation destination for Ernest Hemingway who's many books are sold at the local Red Fox Inn and Horton Bay General Store where you can enjoy a quick lunch or gourmet coffee and pastries and old time soda fountain ice cream. If you make it for 4th of July you can catch the Horton Bay parade, but anytime is a great time to be on Lake Charlevoix's deep blue clear waters enjoying the boating, swimiming and many summertime activities the area has to offer.
