You be the judge. The significant renovation of my Lahaina Shores Beach Resort sixth floor mountain view studio will now be completed by June 20th (new photos will be posted.) This includes an all new kitchen with solid wood cabinetry which has an oven range and microhood, a sleek vanity room, walk in shower with a transparent glass side wall, Mexican travertine and ceramic tile floors and shower walls, new carpeting, etc. The Hansgrohe wall bar shower is the same as you sometimes find in 4 star hotels. You'll be able to reserve at today's pre-upgrade rates until new photos are available. (See rate chart.)
For the budget minded, my more modest fifth floor studio apartment #520 is available with the seventh night free until 12/16 (departure.)
High speed internet cable access is now available.

Description of surrounding area and attractions
At 475 Front St., Lahaina Shores is the only beachfront resort in Lahaina. It's just a 3/10 mile walk down Front St. to Lahaina Harbor and quaint, historic Lahaina Town itself . . . Maui's famed shop-'til-you-drop, gallery hopping, dining & partying mecca.
Storied Lahaina, once the whaling capital of the world, was decreed a National Historical Landmark by the National Park Service on December 29th, 1962 (making it easier to believe you're in the United States, I suppose.)
Nearby Lahaina Harbor is the center for ocean excursions such as deep sea fishing, dinner cruises, whale watching , diviing and snorkeling. (West Maui also provides an astounding array of world class beaches and snorkeling oportunities, all accessible by land.)

Amenities
The artist/owner has tastefully furnished his spacious, mountain facing studio apartments which are centrally air conditioned. The firm California king bed, along with the carpeted bedroom / living area, make these desirable retreats. Also, there's a rollaway bed with standard size mattress for a third guest.
The fully equipped kitchen is complete with full size appliances, a microwave, cookware, dishes and utensils. Plenty of linens and towels (as well as beach towels) are provided.

Deposit is refundable (less a $100 handling fee) only if e-mail cancellation is received 60 days prior to arrival. Deposit is not refundable if cancellation occurs inside 60 days from arrival date. No refunds less than 15 days prior to arrival date unless re-rented. No refunds for no shows or shortened stays.
