Our newest Kauai vacation rental, 'Twin Hearts', is a charming, private one-bedroom/one-bath handcrafted rental honeymoon cottage on our 7.5 acre Kauai North Shore estate parcel, right in the heart of Kauai's magnificent North Shore. The handcrafted cottage has ocean and mountain views and a delightful hot tub, as well as very close beach proximity. Everyone who has come to stay has adored it, and we have already had repeat guests and many referrals! We have recently added a tandem Kayak and wireless high-speed internet access to the cottage's inventory! Twin Hearts is an architecturally interesting sustainable redwood home with lots of special features and privacy, about 200 yards (and lots of hedges and trees) from our house, and 250 similar yards from Hale Kai Kalani, our larger vacation rental home. Larger parties can rent both homes and maintain lots of privacy... Twin Hearts is accessed via a completely private 200' rolled gravel driveway from the paved cul-de-sac road.

Description of surrounding area and attractions
The North Shore of Kauai is justfiably famous for its dozen and a half beautiful world-class beaches, incredible scenery, abundant waterfalls and rivers, and magical rainbows. But that is just the start. There is also the #1 golf course in Hawaii, horseback riding, hiking, great restaurants, and fun shopping. If activities are your thing, there are hundreds to choose from. Experience the 4 farmer's markets each week, with produce, prepared foods, and craft items. Visit an art gallery. Go to a slack key guitar concert. Feast at a luau. Try surfing, body-surfing, or boogie-boarding. Most importantly, start a conversation with one of the very friendly and helpful local residents. In fact, start two or more! Open yourself up to Kauai, and she will open herself up to you. Come to Kauai, stay on the magnificent North shore, and return home refreshed, rejuvenated, and with memories to last a lifetime...aloha nui, malama pono, a hui ho!....Bruce

Winter 1/06 to 3/29/08: $225/night or $1495/week...Spring 3/30 to 6/06/08: $210/night or $1395/week...Summer/Fall 6/07 to 10/31/08: $225/night or $1495/week...Pre-holiday 11/01 to 12/19/08 $210/night or $1395/week...Holiday 12/20/08 to 01/04/09 $1495/week.
Normal minimum stay 5 nights. 7 nights preferred in summer, 14 nights at Holiday.
HOWEVER, shorter stays are possible between longer, established bookings, so please inquire!

Deposits:
A refundable $500 security deposit is required for all bookings, and due within 7 days of booking. The rent, outclean fee, and tax total is due 60 days prior to arrival.
