You be the judge. Importantly, this is one of the few Maui Vista units with a/c in both the living area and bedroom.
This is unit #3104 in building three, "the quiet building," furthest back from the road noises of Kihei Rd.
Carpeted throughout, it has a ceramic tiled kitchen, bath and lanai. The new solid maple cabinetry is custom made by Decora. The newly tiled bathroom has the same Hansgrohe wallbar shower found in many 4-star hotels; the tub is slip resistant and has a grab rail for your safety. The kitchen (including a new stove/oven) and bath upgrades were accomplished during June '06. And a new refrigerator was installed in '07. A firm, queen size mattress was installed in 2006. (Leave your backache here!) I think of this as my home away from home!
There's even a washer/dryer stacked neatly away in it's own louvred closet.

Description of surrounding area and attractions
Maui Vista Resort is located directly across from world class Kamaole Beach I, a sandy beach know for swimming, sunning, snorkeling ... even strolling! An array of shops and restaurants are nearby. There's even a supermarket within walking distance (1/2 mile.)
The high end Wailea Shops are a great shopping experience. They're a 15 minute drive away. "What you spend there, stays there."
Humpback whale season in Hawaii varies, but typically begins right after Christmas. The season is considered to be from around January 1 until April 15. "The animals sometimes come early, sometimes they stay late," said an enforcement officer with the federal Marine Fisheries Service on Maui.
For golfers, the three world class courses at Wailea and the two at Makena are also only minutes away.

Amenities
One of three swimming pools on the property is within 75 ft. of the lanai. For tennis, six individually enclosed Plexipave® championship courts (two per building) are just footsteps away. Racquet and ball rentals are available at the front desk.
High speed cable internet access is provided at no cost. The direct phone provides free Maui-wide calls. Also, there's an iPod capable FM stereo player. On site parking is free.
