Our home is located 23 miles away from Key West, FL. So the peace and tranquillity of island is to be had if you stay home here and watch the boaters go by or one can go to Key West and party and sight see as long as the stamina allows.
Venture Out Resort has an olympic sized swimming pool, hot tub, tennis courts, bocce courts, basketball court, shuffle board court, horseshoe lanes, 2 boat launch sites, boat cleaning area, fish cleaning area, community store, security guard, rec building that houses pool table, ping pong, English darts, post office and site of many craft activities that are performed and taught. There is always something going on for those who wish to participate. Walking and biking are also very big activities in the resort.
