Specific information about property
An exceptional vacation spot in beautiful Key Largo, this beautiful condo is on the Florida Bay side of Key Largo just one mile from John Pennekamp State Park. The condo has just been completely renovated and redecorated. It has a beautiful fully equipped kitchen with all appliances, a washer and dryer. An HD LCD color cable TV and DVD player in the living room, telephone and high speed Internet service. All sheets, linens, towels, dishes and cookware is provided.
There is no drinking out of jelly jars or eating on assorted dishes or plates in this condo. Everything supplied is in matching and coordinated decor. Unlike other condos in the complex, this one has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The master bedroom has a TV and king size bed and adjoining bathroom, the second bed room has a TV and queen size bed and adjoining bathroom. There is also an additional bedroom with a single bed. There is an additional a half bath also. The living room and dining room overlook the pool area.
The property is in a 24 hour security gated property. The property contains a heated swimming pool in addition to a kiddie’s pool, sauna, two tennis courts and its own marina with ample dock space and boat ramp. A large club house is available where you can gather together with friends in the evening and watch the beautiful sunsets over the Florida Bay.
There are a number of restaurants in the immediate area offering all types of cuisine. Shopping is no problem as there are several shopping areas in the vicinity. Key Largo, the northernmost island of the Florida Keys island chain, lies only an hour's drive from South Florida's two major airports. Yet it is a world away. Key Largo is sandwiched between the watery wilderness of the Everglades National Park to the west and the fish-covered coral formations of North America's only living coral barrier reef to the east home to two state parks, a national park, a national marine sanctuary and some of the most fascinating botanical scenery in the state. We invite you to explore the Dagny Johnson Key Largo Hammock Botanical State Park, John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, Everglades National Park and all the underwater delights of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. A host of eco-tourism and dive-snorkel services and accommodations are ready to help you discover the natural wonders of Key Largo.
Six miles offshore in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary you will find the wreck of the Spiegel Grove, a 510-foot Navy ship intentionally scuttled in June 2002 as the backbone for a new coral reef.
Locals consider their home the Diving Capital of the World but the island is nearly as famous as a sport-fishing destination. Some of the best charter captains and fishing guides in the world work out of Key Largo. You can go after sailfish offshore, bonefish along the Atlantic shallows, or redfish and tarpon in the Florida Bay.
Key Largo's proximity to the Everglades makes it a premier destination for Kayakers, birders and other eco-tourists. All this beauty, not to mention the island's rich history, has inspired a vibrant community of artists who show their work at several local galleries. Diving, snorkeling and glass bottom boating in our clear waters of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary is a fantastic experience.
When the day is done, you can trade stories at any of a full-range of restaurants, bars, or right out on our sunset Tiki hut in the marina sipping a cool piña colada. Each is as unique as Key Largo itself.
