Description of the Ole Kamaole`s Beach House Vacation Rental B&B
Title/Quick Description
Best Beach House Bargain!
Specific information about property
Aloha! Welcome to Ole Kamaole's Beach House! Only 80 feet from the sea across the street, we are on the sunny west side of Kauai. Our community of Kekaha used to be housing for the sugar plantation. Now it has evolved into a bedroom community for local families working in the County center of Lihue or the tourist destination of Poipu. Waimea town is 3 miles away.
Built in 1995, our Beach House is cozy for two or can sleep up to six. Besides the five rooms there are also 350 square feet of private decks elevated 10 feet above the sea and the landscaped yard. There is an outdoor, as well as an indoor shower.
Your private kitchen is complete with range, microwave, refrigerator, icemaker, dishwasher, blender, pots, pans, dishes, flatware and glassware. We do not invade your privacy. We stock the kitchen with breakfast groceries and you simply help yourself.
Open beam ceilings with ceiling fans, wood floors, lots of glass, indirect lighting, and art hangings complement the decor of your Beach House.

Additional information about surrounding area and attractions:
The mouth of the Waimea River, where Captain Cook first landed in Hawaii in 1778, is only three miles away. The ruins of an old Russian fort guard the entrance. The road up the volcano behind us runs along the rim of Waimea Canyon, which Mark Twain called "the Grand Canyon of the Pacific." Above it lies Kokee State Park (Google it!), one of the last remaining endemic Hawaiian rain forests. Here you will find a Natural History Museum, unique flora and fauna, and over 40 miles of hiking trails. Some go down into the canyon and some lead out onto knife-edge ridges overlooking Kalalau Valley on the remote Na Pali Coast 4000 feet below. One leads into a high-altitude swamp in a volcanic crater, with plants and animals seen nowhere else on earth. Just a 15 minute drive to the end of the road brings you to Polihale State Beach Park. There are seldom people on this vast beach at the western end of the Na Pali, but there is fresh water, showers, bathrooms, and shaded concrete pavilions.
Additional information about amenities:
House is fully insulated and has large windows and doors that open fully to let Hawaii's glorious weather in. High, open beam ceilings with ceiling fans in every room means air conditioning is unnecessary. Raised on ten-foot pilings for great ocean views, privacy, and access to the cool Trade breezes.
