Description of surrounding area and attractions
There are 2 championship golf courses at the Mauna lani, minutes from the house. The owners beach sports some of the best snorkeling on the island, and a beautiful white sand beach. There is a nature walk, through lava fields and beautiful ancient fish ponds, on a scenic walk to the beach. There is a full moom festival at the beach house on each full moon, with hawaiian folklore and music (no charge) The Hapuna public beach has some of the best boogie boarding in the islands, a 5 minute drive. There are many golf courses to play at very good prices with a Hawaii golf card, which I can give you info on. Within walking distance of the house is a fabulous shopping center with a fully stocked grocery store, Ruth Chris' Steak House, Tommy Bahamas, and much more.
