Within easy walking distance there are two world class golf courses, many restaurants, at least 5 hotels and 5 condos, and an upscale shopping center The Whalers' Village. Within a few feet you can swim, snorkle, spear fish, skuba dive, surfboard, boogie board, sail, wind surf, parasail, windsurf, or jet ski. Hiking and horseback riding are available nearby. The historic capital of Hawaii, Lahaina is 3 miles away and contains many historic buildings and relics of the whaling era plus many shops, theatres, live theater, majic shows, and restaurants. Day trips can take you to the top of Haleakala for a view of the crater of this dormant volcano, or to heavenly Hana, to the Ocean Center and its fantastic collection of sea life, or to Wailea, or to Lanai (the pineapple island) for golfing, or to the sleepy island of Molokai and it's sea cliffs and former leprosarium. Or take a helicoptor ride and view Maui, Haleakala or the sea cliffs of Molokai.

The Whaler has underground parking, a courtyard with koi pond and waterfall. Our unit has a king size pillow top bed in the master bedroom, two pillow top beds in the second bedroom. A 37 inch flat panel TV is in the master bedroom and a 32 inch set in the living room. A thrid TV is in the second bedroom. There is also a VCR, and CD player. A designer glass top dining room table seats 6 easily, and white designer furniture is in both bedrooms and the living room.
