Ixtapa is a true tropical paradise. You get the best of bith worlds. A beautiful tropical beach with a mountain range as a backdrop. Ixtapa is not a tourist trap. The area is very small and not run over by tourist. Ixtapa is authenic Mexico. Some resorts in Mexico have become so Americanized that if you are from the US you may as well go to a beach in Florida. Not Ixtapa. You will find no fast food chains or the usual tourist trappings.
