This four season Resort area has everything for the Outdoor Sportsman or Sport enthusiast, activities varied for all age groups and seasons, as well as indoor and outdoor events. Everything can be reached by either a short walk or drive up to an hour plus to Golden BC, golfing, skiing, 1 1/2 hours to Banff and Lake Louise.
There are 2 famous Hot Springs, Radium Hot Springs to the north and Fairmont Hot Springs to the south. Panorama Ski Resort is 4 season offering pools year round, skiing, Cross country, Heli skiing as well as snowmobiling, snowshoeing, skating in the winter to name a few and in the summer months mountain biking, Heli hiking etc.
In the Columbia Valley below we have 2 lakes in the area, Lake Windermere and to the south of Fairmont Hot Springs is Columbia Lake with public access on the northwest end of the lake access through Fairmont and in the south end at Canal Flats. The area offers many varied medium artisans such as glass blowing, pottery, art, wood carving.

Loop the Lake for all levels of participants and Hang Gliding events in the summer. Glide Planes, and sightseeing planes. Boat, Jet Skii, kayak, and canoe Rentals on the Lake in the summer. The winter brings as many varied activities as does the summer. There is a Bonspiel on the Lake in January, curling rink, skating, ice fishing, skidoos to name a few.
