The Village Mercantile is an on-site store consisting of a well stocked grocery store, a drug store with soda fountain, coffee shop and shopping. There is also an internet cafe to keep you connected. Just down the road in Gulf Shores there are many restaurants offering some of the best seafood and southern cuisine. From lobster to gumbo, you won't go hungry. If golf is what you came down for, you won't be disappointed. The Beach Club is surrounded by some of the best golf courses in Alabama. Kiva Dunes is just down the street and has been rated the #1 course in Alabama. The Peninsula is also another great course just a couple of miles away. There are 10 courses within a very short distance. The kids have a variety of choices. From the on-site Kids Club with daily activities at the Beach Club, to the numerous attractions in Gulf Shores, Fort Morgan and Mobile, there are plenty of things to do.
