Comfortably furnished 3 bedroom 2 bathroom duplex apartment with spectacular seaviews. In a quiet location but only a few minutes walk from the centre of Kas and the beach platforms located below the apartment.
Our duplex apartment is located just above the village of Kas and comprises 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms with balconies at the front of both levels and private wraparound terraces at the rear. The 180º seaviews from the balconies are spectacular and the village is a mere 5 minute stroll away. The beautiful turquoise water is a 5 minute walk down the hill from our apartment where beach platforms are located providing sunloungers for free. The apartment is fully self-contained including washing machine and dishwasher and is fully screened. The downstairs area comprises a large lounge and dining area with balcony to the front and a private terrace at the rear. Also on this level is a separate eat-in kitchen and family bathroom with shower. Stairs from the lounge area lead to the upper floor which comprises a large double bedroom facing the sea, a single bedroom facing the sea with a door onto the front balcony, another family bathroom with shower over bath, and a third double bedroom at the rear with a door onto another large, secluded and sunny balcony facing the cliffs behind and with a side view to the sea. The downstairs area of the apartment is kept cool by wonderful seabreezes – deceptively cool on the hottest summer day! The upstairs area is air conditioned. There are steep steps leading up to the apartment which makes it unsuitable for persons with limited mobility. There is a parking area below.

Kas is a picturesque harbour town with a flavor all of its own. It has an attractive harbour front along which tea gardens, cafes and restaurants are to be found in abundance. Leading away from the harbour is a warren of winding cobbled streets full of colourful shops offering all manner of carpets, ceramics, arts and crafts. One of these streets winds around a Lycian sarcophagus for Kas is the site of the ancient Lycian port of Antiphellos. As a result the town is full of small reminders of the past such as an amphitheatre and temple just outside the centre of town and the collection of cliff tombs attractively lit at night which overlook the town. During the day Kas is deserted as everyone heads for the beaches. The town has two beaches, Big Pebble Beach and Little Pebble Beach! Other beaches may be reached by using the water taxis that leave the harbour throughout the day for the ten minute journey across the bay. Alternatively take a dolmus (local bus) to visit the dramatic sandy gorge of Kaputas situated 20 minutes away on the road to Kalkan. As the boats start returning from the beaches of an evening Kas begins to come to life with people enjoying a glass of tea in one of the harbourside tea gardens. The evenings can be spent exploring the town market which is open on a daily basis and once a week becomes the main market for the entire region. From here you may walk through the colourful covered alleyway of restaurants each offering a wide variety of fresh local cuisine.
Entrance to the apartment is at the top of a steep flight of stairs but the views are spectacular. Off the lounge/dining area is a balcony with views of Kas Harbour and over to the Greek Island of Meis. To the rear of the apartment facing the cliffs is a very private terrace with small garden and BBQ. There is a separate eat-in kitchen on this level and a family bathroom with shower. Stairs from the lounge lead up to the upper floor which has a double bedroom facing the sea, a single bedroom also facing the sea with door onto the front upstairs balcony, and another double bedroom with door leading onto another secluded, large and sunny balcony facing the cliffs and side with sea view. There is another bathroom on this level with a shower over bath.
Winter rates GBP150 per week Summer rates GBP350 per week Cancellation of bookings must be confirmed in writing. The receipt of a cancellation in writing up to eight weeks before arrival date will incur the loss of the deposit only. If the cancellation is received less than eight weeks before arrival then all monies paid will be retained by us.
25% deposit to be paid upon booking and the balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to the commencement of the booking.
