Fiesole is one of the more ancient cities of Tuscany, evidenced by the Etruscan archaeological ruins which date from the seventh Century B.C. Travel to Florence is very easy with an excellent connection by public transport (bus line Seven drives to Florence train station every 20 minutes). Fiesole can be an alternative to whoever is longing to escape from pollution and the chaotic city of Florence diving into a relaxing, fresh but at the same time intriguing atmosphere, besides remaining very close to the big town.
Free parking few metres from home, the property is situated within a stone’s throw from the main square and within walking distance to restaurants, cafes, markets and museums. This oasis of tranquillity can be a point of departure for jogging to Monte Ceceri, famous in the history for the first flying attempt of Leonardo da Vinci.
