In the neighborhood at the end of a small alley you will find a byzantine Church from the 5th century ,pebbled stones and a quite and tranquil area ,but very close to all restaurants,tavernas and the harbour plus the city center.Everything is reachable in walking distance like grandmaster palace,museum,Turkish bath (hamam),restaurants,bars and clubs
Rhodes lies just 11 miles off the southwest Turkish shoreline and its strategic point between cultures and countries has ensured a history both tumultuous and marvelous. Church of Agia Triada, Medieval City of Rhodes
It is a cross form church with cupola. The northern arm of the cross is shorter and ends up in a adjacent structure with rib vault.
The frescoes are preserved mainly in the western arm and are probably of the late 15th and the early 16th century.
Church of Agios Athanasios, Medieval City of Rhodes
It is an aisleless church near the namesake city gate with iconopraphical decoration. It is dated in the 15th century.
It was used as a mosque during the Ottoman occupation.
The city has many landmarks. Some of them date back to antiquity and most of the others remain from the Knights Period.
