Restaurants, groceries, shops, artisans (potters, painters, folk art, etc.) in the area (as close as 5 minutes). Deer Isle is as beautiful as Acadia (which is about an hour drive away), but not nearly as crowded. The island offers several seasonal festivals: Fisherman's Day, Eggemoggin Reach Regatta, Lupine Festival, Fourth of July, Lobster Boat races. There are at least 6 hiking trails as well as beaches and picnic areas.

$250 reservation/damage deposit - refunded if property left in same condition as when you arrive. Not refunded if reservation cancelled, however, may use for alternative dates.
