Private 32 ft pool , sun bathe all day ,3 community pools, hot tub in screen porch ,two level decks surrounding house , trolley service to the beach, a short 10 minute ride or ride 1 of 3 bikes if energetic .
Gourmet kitchen for all you chefs ,outdoor grill for terrific steaks ,50 " big screen tv in family room . 6 tv`s , digital cable with your favororite channels , dvd`s , vcr, stereo player, high speed wireless internet [ bring your own laptop computer ] you most likely won`t use because you`ll be chillin !
Fitness center for all you flat bellies to stay in tip top shape while you`re on vacation ,
not me.

This tour starts going north of our house in The Currituck Club, [my favorite direction ]
pack a lunch, the fishing rods, beach chairs, blankets, kids , dogs etc. Hop in your 4 wheel vehicle and drive north about 15 minutes north to the end of RT 12, yeah , turn right toward the ocean and drive along the surf [ during low tide if possible ]
Watch for the herd of wide horses [ a wild horse santuary ] unbelieveable shells ,
you will be hard pressed tp find the Atlantic this blue anywhere. Oh yes the surf fishing is pretty good most times , yea right ! If not , have a beer and relax .
So you want to shop; head south about 20 minutes into DUCK and you `ll find a town full of them , have lunch at one of fabulous restaurants / grills featuring lots of local flavor and hospitality . The kids big and lsmall can wind surf , the best on the east coast . Head further south to Nags Head to Jockeys Ridge for kite flying and hang gliding. Better than any amusement park!

The beach is the top amenity and always will be !
The community pool is great ... Michael Phelps could train in this pool , there is a baby pool for those future Olympians .4 miles of bike trails wind thru the community .fitness center , tennis courts , Rees Jones golf course, you will want to play over and over , harris teeter grocery store at the main gate with in walking distance , postcard sunsets, star studded Carolina nights.
