On the left side of the Dawn Beach behind the palm trees is Mr. Busby's Beach Bar. It's also a good restaurant.
At the left end of the beach is Beau Beau, an open air restaurant with entertainment
and dance. It belongs to Oyster Bay Ressort. To the right side is the Westin. One restaurant is next to the pool deck.
restaurants and a Casino are inside. If you drive around the Oyster Bay and then right there is Captain Oliver's Restaurant at the Marina.
On the way to the Marina there is on the left side Mamas Pizza with good Pizza, Tuna and
Mahi Mahi fish, steak and chicken. It's opened every day except Wednesday.
In Philipsburg there are some restaurants at the water: Greenhouse and Chesterfields
at the north end of the Greatbay and at the Bordwalk at the beach of the Greatbay.

The friendly Caribbean Windward Island St. Maarten / St. Martin has 2 nations - France and Netherlands.
No other such a paradise island offers so many things to do during 24 hours.

entertainment - and 3 restaurants and 1 casino at the right side.
There are 400 restaurants on the island St. Maarten / St. Martin, 14 casinos with free drinks and music, some with life music,
some of them 24 hours opened, open air dance cafes, night clubs, discos,
shopping centers. In Philipsburg the dutch capitla and Marigot the french capital is great shopping.
You have one of the best caribbean beaches - the Dawn Beach - right down at the villa with nice snorkeling with corals and colourfull fishes
and you can visit many other beaches on the daytime.
You can drive for sightseeing. On the daytime you can make watersports - swimming, snorkeling, sailing, kite surfing, surfing, parasailing,
scuba diving or horse back riding, visit the butterfly farm or zoo. Tennis, Golf. You can make daytrips by ferry or sailing catamaran to neighboring islands.

Advantages of a beach villa: Everybody of your party can swim anytime in the Ocean at one of the best beaches in the CARIBBEAN - the Dawn Beach in Oyster Pond - Sint Maarten Netherlands Antilles. That is much more confortable than asking the others about using the car, driving to the beach, searching a free parking lot, changing wet clothes in the sand...........Beach chairs and umbrellas are for free.
And you have the best location of the island in my villa. Please divide the price difference by the number of persons and days and check if it's worth for your most important time of the year. You can have accomodations with pool all over the world. Why do you fly so far away to an islands with some of the best beaches in the Caribbean if you don't stay right at the beach?

Hotel Room or Vacation Rental?
Most private vacation rental homes offer considerably more space than you will find in the typical hotel room often at a reduced cost. Now, families can vacation together and still have "room to breathe."
Private homes offer excellent flexibility. Unlike a typical hotel room, most private vacation rentals include kitchen facilities with one or more kitchens. You don't have to eat out for every meal (but of course you can if you want too!).
