Kitsilano Cottage, the structure, is a heritage designation qualified 1910 Craftsman bungalow, typical of the trendy, popular and convenient Kitsilano neighbourhood. It has been meticulously restored and ethically upgraded to provide modern living convenience with architectural integrity with its origins.
A Suite at Kitsilano Cottage is a single, upscale, self-contained, garden level suite. It is approximately 825 square feet. There are two bedrooms. One has a king size bed and the other a queen size bed. There is, a queen sized sofabed in the living room. The furnishings are a blend of antique and authentic hardwood reproductions in the Craftsman or, as our guests from the United Kingdom fondly refer to it, Macintosh style. The bedrooms have wall to wall carpeting and generous closet space. The living room and dining room have oak hardwood floors. There is a large picture window offering view of a lush, English garden style front yard. The deluxe Cook's kitchen features side by side refrigerator/freeze with ice maker and filtered water, ceramic top self-cleaning range, dishwasher, microwave and assorted small appliances, including both espresso and drip coffee makers. The unit's private entrance is off a small, private, sunken patio, tucked away in a fenced front yard. We offer a separate private phone line, digital cable offering Pay Per View + Video On Demand and DVD/VCR for the flat screen LCD TV, stereo with FM/CD/Cassette, broadband via Ethernet & WiFi, (we were 1st, in Vancouver to offer guests complimentary high speed internet access), in suite washer & dryer and a self catered complimentary continental breakfast, for your first morning.

Kitsilano District - Clearly one of the most desirable urban residential neighbourhoods in the world. It is cosmopolitan and near the warming influence of the waterfront, keeping the weather in a moderate range year around. An area typified by its myriad Arts and Crafts design homes, lush gardens, green spaces and its chic business areas. Most of the very finest restaurants and nightlife venues in all of Greater Vancouver, a city renowned for its great food, are within walking distance. Both wonderful boutique shopping and several beaches, again all within easy, safe walking distance, supplement this.
Granville Island – A must on any visitor’s list, Granville Island is built around a Public Market and a devotion to the Arts. Theatres, artist studios and fine dining venues abound. Or rent a boat or kayak and tour the beautiful waterways that define this city’s natural beauty.
Downtown and Stanley Park – Just across the Burrard Street Bridge, an Architectural highlight itself. The downtown core offers the cosmopolitan appeal of Robson Street, shopping at some of the most recognized names from Paris to Rodeo Drive and boundless nightlife, cultural venues. Enjoy the wonderful mix of architecture from the earliest days of Vancouver to today. All this is immediately adjacent the jewel of the crown, Stanley Park. Whether you choose to walk, roller blade or cycle its Seawall or visit the Aquarium there is something for everyone, through each season of the year here. Chinatown, the second largest in North America is adjacent the downtown core and brings the Orient to you. Asian specialties from fashion to foodstuffs abound. During the summer months the night market is hugely popular, featuring terrific bargains and authentic Chinese Cultural performances.

Rates, Cancellation And Refund Policy:
We operate on a two season basis. Low and High Season period dates are posted on our website.
We operate on a 30* Day Cancellation Policy. Reservations not cancelled 30 days prior to the check-in date are billed at the full amount. The cost can be refunded, less the charge for a single day, for administrative overhead, if we are able to sell the time to another guest. Should only some of the duration, originally booked, be resold the amount of the potentially available refund is proportionally reduced.
All our rates are based on occupancy by one or two people sharing, (Double Occupancy). Additional Adults, including a second adult using the second bedroom, are billed at $50/night/person. Children, twelve years and under are billed at $25/night/child.
Deposits:
Reservations may be made by supplying a current, valid credit card information. We verify all cards and will hold the booking, on receipt of this information subject to the terms of our Cancellation Policy. By accepting a booking with us, guests agree to be fully responsible for the cost of remediation of any damages caused to the structure, contents and adjacent areas, to the owner's satisfaction. Further they agree that such costs will be charged to their booking credit card, to the extent of their credit limit on that card. Guests further agree to that costs beyond this credit limit will be paid by alternate payment method, on receipt of the demand for the outstanding balance.
