At night, the king-sized bed of the large second-floor master bedroom will be calling. Have someone to tuck in first? There are two more bedrooms on the main floor; one with a double bed, the other with a Queen bed plus two bunk beds. A crib is also available for the precious baby. Bring your pets!

Tear yourself away from the Lake to enjoy BBQ on the sundeck, or games on the landscaped yard. An afternoon hike can be followed by a drive (or boat ride) into town where you'll find it easy to pick up both basics and luxuries including fresh produce and other delectable treats at the weekly Farmer's Market. A powerboat for use on the ocean is available at an extra cost. The varied shoreline of sheltered Bold Bay, provides beachcombing and southerly exposure. An on-property deepwater dock with boat launch is available to those who want to take advantage of some of the best salmon and prawn fishing on the coast. The southern shore of Quadra Island, and other nearby Discovery Islands are home to some of nature's most spectacular wildlife including bold eagles, dolphins, orcas, porpoises, and seals. Rake for clams and pick some oysters - they are delicious and can be easily prepared in the lakehouse's fully equipped kitchen and enjoyed in sunset view from the dining room.
