The Arkansas River is only a mile away for those looking for world-class fishing, kayaking, or rafting. The Tomcat Ranch is also central to Vail, Aspen, and Summit County for world-class skiing and is only 2 hours from Denver and Colorado Springs.

The guesthouse is located in Chaffee County, Colorado -- home to the largest number of +14,000 ft. peaks in the continental U.S. Historic Leadville is about 20 miles away; the town of Salida, rated by Outside Magazine as one of the best small, outdoor towns in the U.S., is only a half hour away. The small town of Buena Vista has shopping and restaurants. In addition, there are a number of local white-water rafting outfitters and a "play-park" for kayaking enthusiasts. The area has miles of trails for those interested in hiking the Rocky Mountains. This part of Colorado has more 14,000 foot peaks than anywhere else in the lower 48 states and 80% of the land is public land, including National Forest.

Amenities
The newly-remodeled guest home features 3 bedrooms, one full and one half bath, a well-stocked kitchen, an adjacent dining room, and an ample yet cozy great room. The home is equipped with Satellite TV and there is a working fireplace in the great room for your enjoyment. The kitchen has a dishwasher, stove, oven, and microwave. There is also a washer & dryer for your convenience.

Rates, Cancellation And Refund Policy:
High Season (May 15-Sep 20 plus winter & spring breaks & holiday weeks): $240/night or $1500/week
Low Season: $195/night or $1250/week
Rates based on 6 person occupancy; additional $15 per person/per night charge for more than 6. No minimum stays, but visits of 4 nights or less incur $75 cleaning fee. Our cancellation period is 60 days prior to arrival date, after which the deposit is nonrefundable. Cancellations before that time will be refunded in full less a $50 processing fee.

A deposit of 50% is required within 10 days of booking a reservation. The balance is due upon arrival.
