House Overlooking Walker Pond/ Escape into the Maine woods, but not too far! Only minutes from restaurants, groceries, the Maine coast, etc., yet private enough to take a shower outside ( or inside in the jacuzzi style jetted tub with two sunflower shower heads.

 Specific information about property

This beautiful home, tucked away in the Maine woods, is only minutes from civilization. This one and a half story house is fully furnished. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, the second bedroom (downstairs) has a double bed. The full bath has a jetted tub and double shower heads. The living room has a beautiful stone fireplace. Downstairs is a foosball table, TV (for videos only), and the washer and dryer. There is also a loft, overlooking the living/dining area. There are two sofa beds to expand the sleeping area to accommodate a family of 8.

Swim, fish, kayak or canoe on Walker Pond, one of the cleanest lakes in Maine. The country roads are wonderful for biking and there are many quaint shops, farmers markets, and galleries in the area, including the Sow's Ear Winery and the market at Buck Harbor.

 Rates, Cancellation And Refund Policy:

Aug. 28 - May 25 - $700 / wk or $ 110/ night - 3 night minimum
May 26 - Oct. 26 - $950/wk or $140/night - 3 night minimum
$450 reservation/ damage deposit required to reserve - non refundable unless I am able to rent to another party for the reserved period; otherwise, you may use the deposit to reserve alternative dates. No cleaning fee, but if property is not left as it was when you arrived, you may need to pay for part of the cleaning ($25.00 / hr. after the first 2 hours).

 Deposits:

$450 reservation/damage deposit returned if property left in the same condition as when you arrive; no refund if reservation cancelled and not filled by another party
