Golden Bear cottages historic resort property is located just one block from Big Bear Lake. The six-acre AAA approved resort has a wide variety of 28 private cottages ranging from studios to six bedrooms. Our entire resort property will accommodate up to 200 persons. Large heated pool and spa and a variety of outdoor recreation are included. During Summer months, enjoy free family movie nights on the big screen TV at the pool. All cottages are provided with daily maid service. Over one half of the cottages have large 2 person Jacuzzi tubs or indoor spas. All cottages have fireplaces and kitchens with all of the amenities. Guests receive weekday boat rental discounts of 25% and weekend discounts of 10%. During the Spring and Fall you will receive discount mountain biking coupons too. In Winter, our guests receive exclusive discount and free ski and snowboard tickets. Golden Bear Cottages are rated one of top 12 fishing lodges and one on the top 20 family vacation spots in North America.

1 block from Big Bear Lake and Pleasure Point Marina. Close to restaurants, the Village and ski resorts. Bear Mountain Golf Course just 5 miles away. Big Bear Lake is Southern California's premier alpine resort and is less than 100 miles from Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego. Golden Bear Cottages resort is the largest group retreat property in Big Bear Lake. It is cool up here; routinely 25 degrees cooler than the valley and 35 degrees cooler than the desert areas.
