Arnold is perfectly situated at 4000 feet in elevation with thick pine forests, blue skys and fresh air, all without the crouds! Visitors flock to this mountain community year round for a wide range of activities, including hiking (Big Trees State Park is just up Highway 4), fishing, golfing, wine tasting, and in the winter skiing and snowboarding at Bear Valley Resort. At 6900 feet in elevation Bear Valley is the closest Ski Resort from the Bay Area and only about a half hour from our Vacation home. Groceries, restaurants and services are all conveniently located nearby. Arnold is a true Four Season Vacation Destination Spot!
