We preserved the 1840s architecture/structure of the original farm house with exposed hand-hewn beams, wide board pine and cherry flooring, new plumbing, heating/AC, and electrical with a fireplace in the living room.
A smoke free, comfortable country home with Queen Anne footed cherry furniture, oriental rugs and fine paintings and prints throughout including the "gallery," second stairway and hall to both lilac and azalea bedrooms each with private bath.
First floor master suite with handicap full-bath. Beautyrest by Simmons in all bedrooms. Each room has telephone/intercom systems. The large screened-in porch off the kitchen has views over large alfalfa fields to pond.

The kitchen eating area has a fantastic view across the garden and fields to the half acre pond with ducks, blue heron, geese, wild turkey and deer. The fully equipped kitchen with glass top stove, double wall ovens and adjacent laundry room all have French country tile. Next to the kitchen is the sitting room with a beautiful large bay window overlooking the perennial garden.
