Villa Gauguin is located in Akumal, without doubt the quietest and most picturesque village at the heart of the Mayan Riviera.
Akumal is only 22 miles from Playa del Carmen (the fastest growing town in Latin America), 55 miles from Cancun International Airport and 16 miles from the Tulum Mayan ruins.
Akumal, “Turtle’s nest” in Mayan, is a favorite place for the sea turtles to lay their eggs. Akumal has two bays with beautiful beaches, ideal for swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving as the corral reef is very closed to the coastline.

Rates, Cancellation And Refund Policy:
CANCELLATION POLICY
Due to high demand, we have to enforce strict cancellation policies. We recommend you to consider purchasing trip cancellation insurance If a refund is applicable, the refund will be processed by Villa Gauguin within two weeks. For security reasons, we prefer account to account wire. We will contact you to get your transfer instructions.
• Cancellation prior to 60 days from arrival date will result in the forfeit of deposit.
• Cancellation less than 60 days prior to arrival date will result in the forfeit of 75% of the Total Rent.
• Cancellation less than 30 days prior to arrival date will result in the forfeit of 100% of Total Rent.
• There are no refunds on cancelled holiday reservations
• No shows, late arrivals, reduction in the number of guests and early departure are all Non-Refundable
• If Villa Gauguin is not available due to “force majeure” (hurricane, floods, fire, repairs...) all paid deposits will be refunded in full.
