Take the bikes for a ride to Money Cay and look for sand dollars, or ride the surf in the Sea Kayaks. Walk miles of empty beaches for shells, sea urchins, sand dollars, and beach treasure. Bonefish right off of our beach for bonefish, they are there, but, for the serious fisherman, The joulters provide excellent bonefishing, which are about a 10 minute boat ride out, hire a guide for the day on Andros, which is known as the bonefishing capital of the world, In addition, Andros has the 3rd longest barrier reef in the world, with the tongue of the ocean dropping 6000 ft. known for it's excellent deep sea fishing and scuba diving. Go to Red Bays and see the Sea Sponging Operation, or meet Henry Wallace,(his carvings have been shown at the Smithsonian) and watch him carve under the coconut palms, or his wife weave a native basket from the silver palmetto's. Lots of beautiful snorkeling , shelling, diving, right off the beaches in Andros. Androsia Batik factory is a 45 minute ride.
