This lovely family owned cape is just a ten minute walk away from the village stores and restaurants. Five minutes in the other direction takes you to the school's playground and basketball court. One mile away is the local Quarry for swimming. The house is just about 100 years old now with hardwood floors , and a deck off the kitchen. You can be on the second floor and not hear the sounds of activity on the first floor. Perfect for an undisturbed afternoon nap or just a quite place to read. The libray a great resource for internet or movies and is a 5 minute walk away. The bedrooms are roomy and comfortable. The exception is the small bedroom with the bunk beds located between two other bedrooms. The bedrooms are located on the second floor. There is a view from the deck of Indian creek , one of the many inlets from the ocean. Having a car on the island is a conveince. Although it can be left on the mainland in Rockland.
