The cabin is situated 50 ft from the bank of the North Fork of the Shenandoah River, and 3 miles from the town center of Strasburg, VA. Walk down the river staircase to wade in the river or launch a kayak, or sit on the screened-in porch to watch the water flow peacefully by.
This cabin feels like it is miles away from civilization, but is close to many amenities and entertainment. Bring only clothes and groceries, most everything else is provided! The cabin can easily accommodate a family of 4 or 5, with a downstairs bedroom (2 twins) and an upstairs loft (one queen/one twin bed).The cabin is child-friendly and has been child-proofed with gates, child locks, etc, and infant/toddler gear is located on the property, including a high chair, playpens, diaper pails, booster seats, bedrails, etc.
