Hotel La Tranquilidad is beachfront on the Pacific Ocean. This vacation retreat is on the Central Pacific Coast between Jaco and Quepos/Manuel Antonio. Much of the time the only sounds at Hotel La Tranquilidad are the ocean waves, the tropical birds singing, or the chirping of the tiny geckos. The fine sand, the calming surf, the gentle breezes, and the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets have created a tropical island paradise.
Costa Rican families have always enjoyed Playa Palo Seco, but it is just beginning to be noticed by tourists on holiday, so there may be few others on the wide black sand beach. The ocean has excellent surf. The beach is wonderful for shelling, sunbathing, bike or horseback rides, fishing or chilling in a hammock.
There is boat access to the estuary at the back of the tranquil property where snook and red snapper are plentiful for fishing. Ancient mangrove trees are homes for white-faced monkeys and other island wildlife. Ecotourism opportunities abound. Mountain views are awesome from here, and the mountains are only 30 minutes away.
